Wastewater capacity

Uisce Éireann rate every serviced settlement Green, Amber or Red for available wastewater treatment capacity. We read that register weekly and stamp each application with the rating of the settlement its address sits in, so a scheme likely to stall on services rather than on planning is visible before you spend a day on it.

• It shows on the lead itself, at every plan including the free one.
• Filter the pipeline with the Wastewater control, or go straight to the Red settlements.
• The county rollup is public at /wastewater-capacity.

Two honest limits. A rating describes a settlement, not a site, and Uisce Éireann state plainly that the register is an indication of available capacity and cannot be taken as confirmation that capacity is available for any particular development. And an address we cannot place in a rated settlement carries no rating at all rather than a guess - about a quarter of addressed applications.
