The map

The map clusters every active lead across Ireland. Amber points are breaking ground now; teal are earlier-stage. Click a point to open the lead. Zoom in to break clusters apart.

Filters

Every filter on the Leads page works on the map too, and the same way: trade, stage, status, authority or county, value, unit count, contactable, wastewater capacity, zoning, sector, use class, and the compliance flags. The one exception is plain-text search, which has no box here. Pick an authority or a county and the map moves there, then refetches whatever is in view as you pan and zoom. Filters live in the URL, so a link you share carries them.

Hotspots

Show hotspots swaps the pins for a heat layer built from the same query, so a filter that narrows the pins narrows the heat identically. Use it to see where a trade is concentrated before zooming in to the individual jobs.

Layers

Zoning, NIAH structures and recorded monuments can be drawn under the pins as context on Pro; nature designations join them on Max. Also on Max, the strategic-infrastructure projects appear as their own layer, and you can upload your own network as GeoJSON and be alerted when work starts within a set distance of it.

Area layers

Turn on Areas in the Layers panel to shade the map by Local Electoral Area, switching to Electoral Divisions as you zoom in. Pick the measure: leads, on site, pipeline value, pre-1980 homes, oil or solid fuel heating, vacancy or deprivation. The legend shows the national figure beside the scale, and the lead counts follow your filters.

Retrofit targeting is the one-click preset: it switches areas on and shades them by the share of homes heated by oil or solid fuel, so the deepest retrofit markets stand out at a glance.

Click an area to open its panel: its lead and on-site counts, the organisations most active there, and its Census 2022 profile against the national figure. Show these leads sets the area as a filter on the Leads page. Major projects (EIA) is a separate toggle that marks the environmental-impact-assessed schemes.
