Questions, answered

Everything about our automated, source-linked data, the verified contacts and AI outreach, the API and export, what each plan unlocks, and how we handle GDPR.

Data

Official public sources — the national planning system and all 31 local-authority registers (DHLGH), the National Building Control office (BCMS commencement notices and completion certs), An Bord Pleanála appeals, the Property Price Register, the Companies Registration Office, CSO PxStat, and EU public tenders (eTenders / TED) — re-used under Ireland's open-data / PSI licence.

Our core sources are updated weekly, including newly-filed commencement notices — the sites about to start building. Some statistical sources (like CSO PxStat) refresh on their own quarterly cadence.

All 31 local authorities. All of Ireland.

Never. Every lead traces back to an official public record — assembled, de-duplicated and enriched, but never invented. We join records by Eircode and entity, and label enriched fields (like contacts) by confidence so you always know what's verified.

Around 22,000 live construction leads at any time, with new planning applications and commencement notices flowing in every week.

Contacts

From public business listings and the company register — for the organisation behind a project. Each contact is labelled by confidence so you know how reliable it is.

No. We work at the organisation level. Where an applicant is a private individual we never enrich or sell personal phone numbers or email addresses, and anything ambiguous is treated as an individual fail-safe.

Plans & pricing

Yes — Basic is free and lets you browse projects at county level across all 31 councils, with weekly updates and trade tags. No credit card required.

Pro unlocks full project detail and the map, the On-site / Solar / Retrofit / Tender feeds, the contractor league table, filters, search, saved searches and alerts when sites break ground. Max adds verified company contacts, Company 360 profiles, market & hiring insights, and the programmatic API with bulk export and webhooks.

The paid tiers turn county-level browsing into a working pipeline: exact project detail and location, who's behind each site and how to reach them, opportunity feeds tuned to your trade, and alerts so you're first to the job rather than last to hear about it.

Product

Yes. Pro and Max plot every project on the map so you can see what's happening in your county at a glance, save your searches, and work an area visually.

Save a search — by trade, county and stage — and we'll ping you the moment a matching site breaks ground, so you can be first to make contact.

Curated streams tuned to a use-case: On-site (commencement notices breaking ground now), Solar (south/west-facing roofs with real generation potential), Retrofit (homes still on oil or solid fuel), and Tenders (public construction contracts).

Yes, and it's what sets us apart. PlanningLeads closes the whole loop in one app: find the right site, see the verified contact for the company behind it, generate an AI-written first approach grounded in the public record, and track every lead through a built-in CRM. No other Irish construction-leads tool does all four.

Older services hand-research a static list and email it to you, often weeks late and with no way to act on it. PlanningLeads is automated and real-time across all 31 authorities, every lead links to the public record, and it goes further than a list: verified contacts, AI-written outreach, a built-in CRM, market intelligence, and an API — self-serve, with a free tier and clear plans rather than a sales demo.

Developers

Yes — Max includes a programmatic API so you can pull leads straight into your own systems. No other Irish construction-leads source offers programmatic access. See the API page for details.

Yes — bulk export and signed webhooks are available on Max, so you can put the whole dataset in your own CRM or warehouse and have new matching leads pushed to you automatically as they appear. This is unique to PlanningLeads in the Irish market.

Trust & GDPR

Most of our data is about companies and registered entities, which isn't personal data. For private individuals we're deliberately restrictive: no enrichment or sale of personal contacts, fail-safe classification, and the public planning record is shown only on our highest tier with individuals masked in exports.

Yes. Email privacy@planningleads.ie and we'll add you to a permanent suppression list: your personal data and any enriched contact stop being served immediately, everywhere, and survive our weekly data rebuild. See our Privacy Notice for the full process.
