Buildings that must stay fire and access compliant
Ireland's compliance register: the buildings that have filed a Fire Safety Certificate (Part B) or Disability Access Certificate (Part M) and now carry a lifelong duty to keep their fire and access provisions maintained. Built from the NBCO public register - PII-free and resale-safe under CC BY 4.0 - it is the earliest structured signal of a building that needs fire-alarm, sprinkler, smoke-ventilation, fire-stopping and disability-access servicing.
6,777 buildings on the register carry both an FSC and a DAC - a single combined fire and access servicing relationship.
How the compliance register works
Under Ireland's Building Control Regulations, most non-domestic and apartment buildings must obtain a Fire Safety Certificate (Part B) and a Disability Access Certificate (Part M) before they can open. Those duties do not end at handover. The Fire Services Acts require the person in control of a building to keep fire safety provisions maintained at all times, and fire-alarm and detection systems need routine servicing by a competent person under I.S. 3218. Every filing on this register is therefore a building with a lifelong obligation to keep its fire and access provisions inspected, serviced and re-certified when it changes.
Filter the full register by use class, county, floor-area band and re-certification inside the app - the patch a fire or access contractor works.
