Your network & proximity alerts

If you own or maintain something linear or scattered - a feeder route, a run of main, a set of poles, a portfolio of sites - you can upload it and we will tell you when construction is lodged near it. Nobody else is told: the planning regulations list the bodies a council must notify about an application, and no network operator is on that list.

Go to Account → Network and upload a GeoJSON of your assets in WGS84, up to 20,000 features and 5 MB. It is visible only to your account. Then set a distance, from 10 m to 5 km, and choose whether you want applications, commencement notices or both.

We measure to the real site boundary where the scheme has one, not to a centroid - a long scheme’s centre point can sit a kilometre from the edge that actually crosses your network.
The sweep has no row cap, so a national network is not silently truncated.
Manage alerts on the Saved page under Network alerts: pause, retune the cadence, or delete. Delete the layer and any alert watching it is disarmed and says so, rather than going quiet.

For a push rather than a digest, register a webhook on the lead.on_site event and you are called the moment a scheme near you files its commencement notice. To work in your own GIS instead, the two GeoJSON layers are an Enterprise licence.
