Proposed development
Permission for the construction of a residential development of 96 no. residential units, landscaping and associated site development works at this site Ballowen or Ramsfort Park (Townland), Fort Road, Creagh, Gorey, Co. Wexford. The proposed development consists of the construction of 76 no. two storey semi-detached and terraced houses (comprising 12 no. 2-bed units, 41 no. 3-bed units, and 23 no. 4-bed units), and 20 no. apartment units in 5 no. two storey blocks (comprising 8 no. 1-bed units and 12 no. 2-bed units). Ancillary infrastructure development works will include wastewater infrastructure, surface water attenuation, water utility services, car parking, public lighting, bin stores, bicycle stores, 3 no. ESB substation kiosks, and all associated site development works. Vehicular access to the development will be via 1 no. new entrance from Fort Road, with provision also made for a separate vehicular access to/from the adjoining Deerpark Estate to the south. The design includes new roadside foot and cycle path infrastructure on Fort Road, as well as pedestrian infrastructure to/from Deerpark Estate and internally within the development site
