First Floor - Restoration of multi-functional Community Room, Removal of stairs and mezzanine above Community Room (both non-original), Removal of section of chimney breast to rear (non functional) and insertion of 1 No. window to rear elevation, Replacement of all windows with historically accurate sash windows, Removal of spiral staircase and additional floor to rear return, Removal of non-original door from rear return to existing flat roof and replacement with window, Form new opening in position of existing window to rear to access new link structure. New Building with Link to Market House - New part single storey/part two storey building comprising a new Café/Retail Space at ground floor level, and a second multi-functional Community Room at first floor level, along with all service accommodation, New two storey link (linking Market House with New Building) to provide lift access to upper floors (this link space will be used as a rolling display/exhibition space), Combined floor area of new structures is 390 sq.m. External Works - Creation of new public square with access from Main Street (through Market House) and Market Square (gated access from both) Provision of 4 No retractable umbrella style awnings for shelter/protection, Covered landscaped seating area along eastern boundary, Removal of section of boundary wall to south (shared with graveyard) to provide visual connectivity and a new gated pedestrian entrance to graveyard (where an original entrance was located), External seated areas, New soft planted areas and hardscaped areas, Storage Room (6.5 sq.m.), Signage, External lighting, Bicycle parking and Mobility Scooter charging point, Photovoltaic solar panels on roof of two storey element of new buildings, New level surface across Main Street and Market Square to improve accessibility for all and consequential changes to public realm in this area.
