Proposed development
The proposed development comprises the creation a permanent vehicular access through the existing boundary wall fronting Maiden Lane, New Ross, Co.. Wexford. The works will include the removal of the existing temporary access section fencing, installation of entrance gates, and formation of a driveway to provides access to an existing hard-surfaced area within the site for use as off-street parking. The proposed access will facilitate parking for the existing occupants of the site and future authorised users of the adjoining buildings. The development is intended to improve parking management within the area by providing off-street parking facilities and reducing reliance on on-street parking in the surrounding residential streets. The works are confined entirely within the site boundary, with exception of the new entrance opening onto Maiden Lane. No additional floor area, buildings, or changes to the existing use of the site are proposed as part of this application
