Proposed development
The proposal consists of the placement of two insulated prefabricated container units, being 40-foot high-cube ex-reefer containers, within the curtilage of the property. The containers are to be located approximately 45 metres from the nearest public road boundary and set back from all site boundaries. Each container will be used for storage purposes ancillary to the existing use of the property. The containers will be placed on a level surface and no permanent foundations are proposed. The units are capable of being removed without structural works. No new services, drainage works, or significant groundworks are proposed, and no extension of the existing curtilage is required. Due to their location, scale, and set-back, the proposed containers will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the area or adjoining properties
