The conversion of an existing integral/internal garage (2.65m x 4.8m) into a lounge/study area, by the replacement of the garage door with wall under new window. Please find attached drawing of same for your consideration. The building line or overall facade will not be altered apart from removing narrow garage doors, and the insertion of a window on the front facade at ground floor level. The narrow width of the garage doors currently renders the garage inaccessible by car. The internal space is not fit for the purpose as a garage. The works involve a minor alteration to the external appearance of the building. The subject window will be in keeping with the overall design and proportions of existing window on the front elevation, and neighbouring ground floor windows on the streetscape.
