Proposed development

The construction of a logistics/warehousing unit (Unit 6) with associated office and welfare accommodation, service yards, ancillary structures/areas including ESB substation/switchroom, guard houses, smoking shelter, winter module, welfare unit and bin stores. The proposed logistics/warehousing unit will have a total gross floor area of 12,180 sqm (including 10,421 sqm of warehouse floor space at ground floor level and 1,759 sqm of office and welfare accommodation across ground and first floor levels) and measures c. 14.35m from finished floor level (FFL) to warehouse roof ridge (the stair core parapet at roof level measures c. 16.45m from finished floor level (FFL)). The provision of a covered canopy area to the east of the unit, access to the unit will be from the existing roundabout to the southwest of the site and the provision of van storage spaces to the east of the site. Provision of 214 no. car parking spaces, 11 no. motorcycle spaces and 62 no. bicycle spaces to serve the proposed development, landscaping works, boundary treatments, and the provision of associated infrastructure including internal roads, footpaths and cycle paths and all associated site development works to support the development.

The application has been lodged and validated. The council has eight weeks to decide, unless it asks for further information.
