Bus Eireann parking yard, Michael Conlon Road (n4) , rathedmond, sligo town, co. sligo. this application relates to a proposed development adjoining the curtilage of protected structures listed as RPS 101SE and 218SE in the record of protected structures. The development will consist of the proposed extension of the existing bus parking yard and the re-development of the existing yard to provide in total 20 no EV charging bays, 20 no parking bays for coaches for 15m long coaches., 40 no bus bays on site in total. provision of 9 no staff car parking spaces, and all associated siteworks. The yard extension is approximately 0.4092 hectares. the proposal will also include 1no 15m x 3.74m free-standing single-storey prefabricated insulated metal clad steel structure 56 square metres comprising of electrical equipment rooms to the western side of the site. We also propose to construct a single storey ESB sub-station together with MV and LV rooms to the western boundary of the site; c43.5 square metres together with various siteworks to include yard lighting, charging pedestal guns, public lighting standards. access will be primarily via the Michael Conlon road. We also seek permission to construct a single storey modular building for staff accommodation c. 96 sq m. New boundary treatment to include new powder coated painted steel palisade fencing to the western and southern boundaries. This proposal also seeks to connect into public mains sewer.
