Proposed development
(i) the extension of the existing concrete slipway by approximately 20 metres with a concrete slipway; (ii) the construction of a miniature rowing training pool comprising a precast reinforced concrete box structure measuring approximately 2.9m long × 1.9m wide × 1.2m deep with 200mm thick walls, including crushed stone infill; (iii) the construction of an inland rowing training tank comprising an approximately 800mm deep water-filled tank with rounded internal corners, constructed using a combination of reinforced concrete, GRP and/or plastic liner systems with watertight rendered internal walls; (iv) installation of operational two lighting poles with adequate lux levels to serve the proposed facilities; (v) removal of approximately 28 metres of existing riverbank vegetation; and (vi) all associated site development works, drainage, landscaping and ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development. (vii) The Proposed Development application area comprises a site of c. 0.12 ha.
