Block A is a 4 storey apartment block incorporating a total of 24no. apartment units comprised of 4no. 1-bed apartment and 20 No. 2 bedroom apartment units. Block B is a 4 storey apartment block incorporating a total of 24no. apartment units comprised of 4no. 1-bed apartment and 20 No. 2 bedroom apartment units. Block C is a 4-5 storey apartment block incorporating a creche at ground floor level and a total 30 no. apartment units comprised of 4 no. 1-bed apartment units, 25no. 2-bed apartment units, and 1no. 3-bed apartment units. This application also seeks permission for 1no. External store associated with the creche, 2 no. external communal bin stores. 1 no. vehicular entrance to the site from the existing Deer Park residential development, pedestrian access onto the Outer Ring Road (Cumann na mBan), resident and visitor parking, creche parking & creche set-down, bicycle parking, site landscaping and amenity areas, boundary treatments, footpaths, lighting, drainage, and plant including solar PV at roof level.This permission will supersede the previously permitted 4 storey apartment blocks and creche granted under planning reg. no. 21/215 on the same site.

What happens next

Permission was granted on 25 Jul 2024. Third parties may appeal within four weeks; after that the permission is final and works can start once a commencement notice is lodged.
