the following works to and within the curtilage of a protected structure: a) change of use of meeting hall/former Methodist Church to restaurant use, b) demolition of existing single storey office extension constructed in 1983, and c) construction of new single storey extension with part pitched roof and glass canopy to create separate dining room, restaurant entrance and toilets, kitchen and staff areas as part of restaurant use, d) lowering of former church floor level to address current building access regulation and operational compliance, e) removal of existing modern glazing from all stone framed windows and installation of new glazing system and f) conservation based repair and refurbishment works to existing building fabric to allow for necessary upgrade, stabilisation and maintenance of the protected structure, g) the widening of existing vehicular entrance with new gate including rebuilding and stabilisation of existing defective piers to boundary wall which is a protected structure, together with all associated site works, h) RETENTION PERMISSION is also sought for the removal of the internal floor structure of the historic former church
