The removal of an existing pedestrian public footpath within Pearce Brothers Park. and grass verge resulting in reduction of pedestrian infrastructure and pedestrian safety and mobility. the removal, reallocation, or reduction of 9 existing public car parking spaces in connection with the development approved under Part 8 (REF SD218/0008) resulting in the net loss of car parking provision in an estate the provision of those 9 car spaces was as a result of Deputation meeting in 2007 and a series of public consultations by SDCC Roads dept and residents and local residents association. SDCC had previously recognised the shortfall historically of parking spaces. it was also noted at TRAC and discussed regularly in 2006 and 2007 by councillors and a solution was agreed to removing a strip of zoned open space and install publicly designated on - street car parking - the subject of this current Section 5 Application.
