Proposed development

The construction of a 6,574m² bakery building over two storeys (ground floor: 3,814m² & first floor: 2,760m²), and retaining part of the existing steel structure approved under Planning Permission Reference N°061187 granted on 24.01.2007. The proposed bakery building will include production area, freezers/chills, finishing room, mixers area, storage rack facilities, dispatch area, staff facilities, offices and an open-air plant area at first floor level. The proposal will be connected to the existing water and drainage facilities and considers recycling of most of its greywaters. It also includes an external ancillary refuse compound, an ESB substation, 78 car parking spaces, 2 van parking spaces, 92 bicycle spaces, loading bays, oil storage tank and all necessary associated ancillary facilities.
