Proposed development
Permission for the addition of a mobility impaired access structure (MIAS) that will be within the curtilage of 3 no. Protected Structures (RPS Reference Nos.: 02600465, 02600466 and 02600467). The structure is a hybrid assembly of different concrete and steel elements including a pair of staircases (two flights each), free standing lift shafts, support portals, electrical services and a walkway. Associated works will include the widening of existing platforms to accommodate the MIAS with associated fencing, removal of 10 No. car parking spaces and replacement with 9 No. car parking spaces which includes 2 No. accessible car parking spaces, removal of existing historic wall for construction access off the N60 and reinstatement of wall following construction, a new waiting shelter on Platform 1 and all ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development at
