Proposed development
The development will consist of the refurbishment and extension of the existing house and outbuildings. In detail: 1.) The demolition of two single-storey wings to the rear of the house and a modern first floor addition. 2.) The refurbishment of the existing house including the replacement of the roof, refurbishment of the timber windows, conservation of the internal woodwork, panelling and historic plasterwork and the installation of new mechanical and electrical services including underfloor heating. 3.) The construction of a new extension to the rear and side, all single storey with a partial basement level. 4.) The change of use of the existing derelict outbuildings to guest accommodation ancillary to the main house and associated works including new natural slate roof, new timber windows, new internal floors and joinery and new mechanical and electrical services. 5.) The construction of a new range of single storey outbuildings to the rear partially buried into the hillside containing an art studio, study and gym with a roof terrace over. 6.) The construction of a single storey covered terrace to the rear. 7.) All associated groundworks, services and landscaping.
