the partial demolition of the existing part single-storey part two-storey nursing home; the demolition of the existing single storey utility outbuilding to the rear of the site; the removal of existing storage sheds (2no.) /container (1no.) and water storage tanks (2no.) to the rear of the site; the making of alterations to the remaining part of the existing nursing home; the construction of a part two-storey, part three-storey extension to the sides and rear of the remaining altered part of the nursing home, to provide an extended nursing home (bedroom capacity:88no. single occupancy en-suite bedrooms), the provision of 2no. courtyard gardens and a landscaped garden at ground level and two outdoor terraces ,one at first floor level and one at second floor level, to function as amenity open space for the residents; the construction of a single-storey detached utility building/ refuse store , a laundry bin area and the installation of an auxiliary generator to the north east of the extended nursing home on the opposite side of the internal access road ; the making of alterations to the internal access road and the carparking layout (proposed capacity: 29no. spaces); the provision of 2no. cycle parking facilities (total capacity 20 no. spaces); and all associated site development works
