The site is generally bound: to the north by lands adjacent to the Broadmeadow River, with a small section of the boundary extending along the river; to the south by Glen Ellan Road; to the east by the National Museum of Ireland Collections Resource Centre (Eircode: K67 VR88), which also extends along portions of the site's northern and southern edges, and Balheary Road; and to the west by an under construction mixed-use development (permitted under Fingal County Council Reg. Ref. LRD0018/S3E and amended under LRD0080/S3E). The application site also extends to include sections of the existing footpath along Glen Ellan Road and Balheary Road for access, public realm and associated infrastructure works, as well as part of Glen Ellan Road for drainage connection works. The application site further extends to include lands adjacent to the Broadmeadow River for drainage connection and associated works.
