Proposed development

Installation of approximately 25.74 kilometres (km) of 38 kilovolts (kV) underground cable at various locations in County Fingal with a total site area of approximately 28.78ha. The proposed Coolmine 38 kV Cable Route section runs across the County in an east to west direction from the County boundary within Dublin City Council in the east to the County boundary with Kildare County Council in the west. The route incorporates communication links and fibre optic cables, joint bays and communication chambers, temporary construction laydown and work areas, temporary access tracks, passing bays and water and utility crossings, and all associated and ancillary above and below ground site development works.
