Proposed development
The development will consist of the change of use of the previously permitted restaurant (currently vacant) at first floor level to Adult Disability Day Services (c. 488 sq m) comprising therapy rooms, a sensory space, a multi-purpose room, amenity and welfare facilities, ancillary office, storage spaces and storage rooms. The development will also consist of: the provision of a glass screen along the extent of the existing terrace area at first floor level on the south-east elevation; the replacement of the main entrance doors with automated accessible doors at ground floor level to the south-west of the building; minor alterations to the existing circulation area and lift; alterations to the existing parking areas to the south of the building, including the replacement of 5 No. existing car parking spaces with 1 No. new set-down space (9 No. car parking spaces and 1 No. set-down area will serve the proposed Adult Disability Day Services); the provision of 4 No. bicycle parking spaces; electric vehicle (EV) charging points; plant; signage (c. 2.5 sq m) and all associated ancillary works above and below ground.
