Proposed development

Permission is being sought for revisions to previously approved planning application, Reg. Ref. F21A/0667, comprising: (a) Revisions to internal layout of the already approved warehouse building, at ground, first and second floor level, to provide for new office space at 1st and 2nd floor level (680 sqm GFA), a revised staff facilities area at ground floor level (expanding from 37 sqm to 200 sqm GFA), a new archives storage area at 2nd floor level (65 sqm GFA) and new plant area at 2nd floor level (69 sqm GFA). The proposed internal revisions will see reduction of floor area of warehouse space at ground floor level from 1,608 sqm to 1,445 sqm and the overall additional floor area by way of the proposed amendments is 977 sqm. (b) Permission is also sought for external revisions to the warehouse building consisting of revised fenestration to the north west, south east and north east elevations with the provision of additional windows. (c) The proposed warehouse building is also to be served with a new staff car parking area comprising 17 no. new staff car parking spaces inclusive of 1 no. accessible space, 2 no. electric vehicle parking spaces together with the addition of 1 no. new motorcycle parking spaces and 4 no. sheltered bicycle parking spaces. (d) All associated site works necessary to facilitate the development.

What happens next

The application has been lodged and validated. The council has eight weeks to decide, unless it asks for further information. The council's decision is due by 21 Oct 2026.
