Proposed development
Planning Permission for development of a light industrial/warehouse development. The proposed development will consist of 5 no. light industrial/warehouse units accommodated in two separate Blocks, identified as Block One and Block Two, with an overall gross floor area of c. 2,484sqm. Block One comprises 2 no. units with office and staff amenities provided at mezzanine level. Block Two encompasses 3 no. units also with office and staff amenities at mezzanine level. Vehicular access to the proposed development will be provided via a new vehicular access off Kettles Lane while the existing access to the site from the private lane to the east will be permanently closed. It is also proposed to construct a section of footpath along the site frontage. The proposed development also provides for an on-site wastewater treatment system, including percolation area, in addition to car and bicycle parking, public lighting, landscaping and boundary treatments, and all associated site development works.
What happens next
Permission was granted on 21 May 2026. Third parties may appeal within four weeks; after that the permission is final and works can start once a commencement notice is lodged.
