Proposed development

The refurbishment and restoration of several existing timber sash windows to the front and rear elevations of the existing dwelling, to include the careful removal of existing single glazing and the installation of slimline double-glazed units within the existing/repaired timber sashes. Internal alterations at first-floor level to accommodate the installation of a new en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom. The removal of a non-original window at lower ground floor level to the rear elevation, and the installation of a new set of timber French doors in its place. The proposed installation of a Solar PV (Photovoltaic) panel array on the existing roofs of the dwelling, consisting of: 10 no. panels on the south-facing pitches of the main roof (not visible from the front elevation facing Idrone Terrace); 4 no. panels on the east and west-facing pitches of the rear return roof; and 4 no. panels on the roof of the existing single-storey rear extension (18 no. solar PV panels in total). The demolition of the existing garage structure to the rear of the site and the construction of a new replacement garage structure addressing Idrone Lane, to include vehicular and pedestrian access off the lane. The garage will accommodate a mezzanine storage level also. All associated internal conservation works, site works, and ancillary services associated with the proposed works.
