Demolition of the existing car parking deck at Sorrento Road, the residential annex beneath, the external stairs to the annex, 2 no. sets of terraced garden steps and 2 no. sections of wall at the western boundary. Subdivision of the western side garden and construction of a new detached 3-bedroom residential dwelling laid out over 3 levels below the level of Sorrento Road (annotated as level -1, -2 and -3 on drawings) and extending to c. 283m2 to principally include: Level -1 accommodating 2 no. bedrooms and shower room; Level -2 accommodating a master bedroom suite and utility room; Level -3 accommodating an open plan living / kitchen / dining area, toilet, and ancillary rooms; A stepped arrangement of external landscaped terraces and gardens that are accessible from the dwelling at each level and are also connected by external stairs; New boundary walls incorporated into the dwelling including planters and planted screens; A new car parking deck accessed from the existing entrance on Sorrento Road accommodating 2 no. car parking spaces, bin storage, bicycle storage and an external platform lift to level -1. The development includes removal of fencing behind the existing (retained) front boundary wall, replacement of the existing entrance gate at Sorrento Road and all associated site works and services.
