The development will consist of the provision of a total of 103no. residential apartment units. Particulars of the development comprise as follows: (a) The demolition of Canal House and associated buildings at 563-567 South Circular Road and general site preparation works. (b) The provision of an apartment development comprising a total of 103no. apartment units comprising 48no. 1bed units, 48no. 2bed units and 7no. 3bed units. The apartment building ranges in height from part four storeys to part seven storeys. (c) Provision of associated residential bicycle storage facilities at surface level throughout the site and bin storage facilities along with plant rooms. (d) Provision of associated car parking at ground level along with provision of a vehicular entrance. (e) Provision of associated communal open space areas for residents with all hard and soft landscape works at first floor podium level above the proposed car parking. (f) All ancillary site development/construction works to facilitate foul, water and service networks for connection to the existing foul, water and ESB networks. (g) The provision of associated works to the footpaths and public roads adjacent to the site that will include for the provision of a service bay along Rothe Abbey Road.
