RETENTION PERMISSION: We, Mer Blanc Properties ULC, intend to apply for Retention and Planning Permission for development at 1-3 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2. The development will consist of changes to previously approved permission ref. 3679/21, namely: RETENTION for: (a) revised layout to fifth floor mansard roof, increasing the floor area by 52sq.m and associated changes to front, side and rear elevations, (b) 1no. additional bedroom to the fifth floor and (c) 2 no. additional windows to the fifth floor to the front and side. PLANNING PERMISSION to: (d) install an additional fifth floor corner window to front/side elevation, (e) change the orientation and enclosure of the rear fire escape stairs, (f) install a new ground floor corridor from fire escape stair through Fexco premises to front exit door, (g) revise the ground floor shopfronts including 2no. new fire escape doors, (h) omit one of the passenger lifts, (i) to install new windows to rear elevation on 1st to 5th floor, (j) amalgamate the Fexco basement into hotel use, (k) install a commercial kitchen and staff facilities in the Fexco basement and a hotel restaurant in the existing basement, and (l) Omit permitted fifth floor overhang to rear.
