Proposed development

We, O'Flynn Construction (Milltown) Limited, intend to apply for planning permission for amendments to the development permitted under An Coimisiún Pleanála Ref. ABP313048-22 and Dublin City Council Reg. Ref. 4115/21, as amended by Dublin City Council Reg. Ref. WEB2775/24, on lands at Nos. 9–14 and 11C Milltown Road, Milltown, Dublin 6. The application site comprises the former Murphy & Gunn site (currently Autovision) and the former St. Joseph's Junior Education Centre site. The proposed development consists of amendments to Block A of the permitted development and comprises the following: • Change of use of 147.7 sq.m of the permitted ground floor residents' amenity floorspace within Block A to provide 4 no. studio apartments. • Reconfiguration of 1 no. permitted ground floor 2-bedroom apartment to provide 1 no. 1-bedroom apartment. • The provision of an additional 4 no. cycle parking spaces at basement level, increasing the number of cycle spaces from 175 to 179. • Associated internal reconfiguration of ground floor and minor amendments to the ground floor elevations, including revised glazing arrangements; and • All associated site development works. The proposed amendments will increase the total number of permitted residential units from 74 no. to 78 no. apartments. The development, as amended, will result in a revised unit mix of 4 no. studio apartments, 36 no. 1-bedroom apartments and 38 no. 2-bedroom apartments.
