Proposed development

We, ORHRE Management Services Limited, intend to apply for permission for development at this site at 19-20 Lombard Street East and 112-113 & 114 Townsend Street, Dublin 2. The proposals comprise amendments to planning permission DCC Reg. Ref.: WEB2350/25. The development will consist of the demolition of existing vacant two storey building (c. 173 sqm) at the southern perimeter of the site and the construction of a 5 storey (16.2 metres above ground level) extension (c. 300 sqm) of the permitted hostel development providing an additional 8 no. bedrooms (105 no. in total) at upper floors, publicly accessible café (c. 67 sqm) fronting Lombard Street (with external seating area and 2 no. visitor bicycle parking spaces), ESB substation, meter room, bike store and fire escape (accessed from the western elevation) at ground floor level, reconfiguration of layouts at basement to sixth floor level (additional 56 sqm), associated elevational changes to the southern, eastern and western elevations to provide additional and reconfigured windows, and material finishes, relocation of permitted signage area 01 from southern elevation to eastern elevation above café at ground floor level, green roof and plant (first floor roof level), minor amendments to roof level at sixth floor arising from fire certification and all associated works to facilitate the development.
