IT IS PROPOSED THAT THIS REQUIREMENT BE ADDRESSED BY WAY OF A SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT CONTRIBUTION UNDER SECTION 48(2)(C) OF THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 (AS AMENDED), OR ALTERNATIVELY BY THE PLANNNING AUTHORITY/LOCAL AUTHORITY, WITH A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION TO BE MADE BY THE DEVELOPER IN LIEU OF THE WORKS
