Proposed development
for development which will consist of the installation of a rooftop solar photovoltaic system on the roofs of Bay 42 and Bay 43 within Block U, 40 47, and the Warehouse and Office Building within the EI Unlimited Company premises. The development will have an approximate capacity of 505 kWp DC and 400 kW AC, comprising approximately 1,010 photovoltaic panels, with an approximate installation area of 9,640.68 square metres, equivalent to approximately 0.964 hectares, together with associated mounting systems, electrical cabling, connection to the existing on site electrical infrastructure, ancillary electrical equipment and all associated site development works. This development is covered by the provisions of the Renewable Energy Directive III (Directive (EU) 2023/2413), and it is important to note that the planning application may be subject to Section 34D of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended. When a notice issues in accordance with Section 34D(b), the provisions of Article 26A of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2025 shall apply.
