Amendments to previously granted planning permission at Ballymurtagh

Proposed development

for amendments to previously granted planning permission (Planning Reference: P24/60414) at Ballymurtagh, Shannon Free Zone West, Shannon, Co. Clare. The amendments include: 1. Realignment of the northern site boundary to the north of permitted Building 01; 2. Repositioning and reduction in the floor area of Building 01 (from 3,905 m² to 3677 m²); 3. Increase in the floor area of Building 02 (from 6,010 m² to 6509m²). 4. Reduction in car parking spaces from previously permitted 286 spaces to 285 spaces. 5. Associated site works required to facilitate the above amendments, including adjustments to parking and landscaping, as necessary. The permitted development consists of the construction of two light industrial buildings with ancillary office space, yard areas, refuse stores, car parking, bicycle parking, ESB substations, a switch room, and associated site works. Permission is also sought to retain flexibility in the subdivision of the buildings as follows: Building 01 (Floor area amended from previously granted 3905m² to reduced area of 3,677 m²). Option A: (Amended floor area 3677m²) One unit with ancillary yard and refuse/plant store. Option B: (Amended Unit 01 floor area 1834.5m²), (Amended Unit 02 floor area 1842.5m²), Two units with individual yards and refuse/plant stores. Building 02 (Floor area amended from previously granted 6010m² to increased area of 6,509 m²) Option A: (Amended floor area 6509m²) One unit with ancillary yard and refuse store. Option B: (Amended Unit 01 floor area 4318.5m²), (Amended Unit 02 floor area 2190.5 m²), Two units with individual yards and refuse stores. Option C: (Amended Unit 01 floor area 2176m²), (Amended Unit 02 floor area 2142.4 m²) & (Amended Unit 03 floor area 2190.6 m²), Three units with individual yards and refuse stores.
