RED III - for the construction of a single storey geothermal plant building with an associated yard area including access stairs. The Geothermal plant building will house ground source heat pumps and will be connected by buried pipework to a series of geothermal boreholes located to the south of the existing hospital. This Geothermal Plant is set to serve the previously granted Cavan General Hospital extension planning application, Ref-2460276. The application includes all associated boundary treatments, landscaping, and site development works necessary to facilitate the installation and integration of the development within the hospital grounds
