Proposed development
The existing front boundary wall is in a state of disrepair. It is proposed to repair and add an additional fence on top of the existing for security, privacy and containment of pet dog due to surrounding farm livestock. The existing wall is nominally 800mm in height. It is proposed to put a concrete structural cap (40mm height) on top of this). Followed by new granite capping (80mm height) followed by a horizontal slatted ranch style fence (see attached) (803mm height) with an allowance for cement of 40mm depth will give a total nominal height of 1763mm. Also pier caps to be raised to 2000mm height. We believe this development is exempted, but would like confirmation before works costs and other expense is incurred.

The council recorded a decision on 10 Nov 2023. The official file has the outcome; a third-party appeal is possible within four weeks of the decision.
