Retention permission and planning permission at Lacken, Kilbarry

Proposed development

Retention permission and planning permission for development for amendments to a permitted residential development, granted planning permission under P22/12 at Lacken, Kilbarry, Waterford. Retention permission and completion of amendment works is sought for 10 no. terraced and semi detached units (house no. 53 – 62) and planning permission for amendments is sought for 52 no. semi detached and detached units (house no. 01 – 52) to include: (a) minor repositioning of housing; b) omission of stepped front elevation to the three bed units (Type C & D); (c) minor change in overall gross floor area of units; (d) elevational changes relating primarily to window and door positioning and size and roof slopes; and (d) provision of boundary treatment within each unit notwithstanding Condition 21(c) of granted permission. Planning permission for development is also sought for (i) amendments to the red line site boundary such that the overall site area has increased; (ii) increase in provision of open space and revised landscaping plan; (iii) reduction in car parking spaces from 117 no. to 109 no. and repositioning of spaces on site; (iv) minor relocation of site entrance to the north and minor alignment of the outer distributor road; (v) relocation and redesign of proposed detention basin; (vi) revision to route of surface water network; and (vii) all associated site works.

The application was declared invalid by the council. A corrected application may be lodged again.
