Proposed development

The development will consist of amendments to the planning permission for a medical devices manufacturing facility with associated ancillary warehousing and a three storey office/administration block granted under Reference FW22A/0319 comprising: 1) Relocation of vehicle accesses onto Damastown Green to the north and associated alterations to landscaping along the boundary with Damastown Green, repositioning of security hut, external gates and external signage to the north; 2) Increase in the height of the rear plant area (south east corner) by 3.78 metres; 3) Increase in height of stair core to the upper roof level in the plant area (south east corner) by 1.45 sq. m.; 4) Provision of an additional external fire escape stairs from the first floor plant area (south east corner); 5) Provision of additional external louvres on the southern elevation to the first floor plant area (south east corner); 6) Revision to plant layout on upper roof level comprising the installation of 13 no. air handing units; 7) Installation of plant on the roof of the administration block and adjustments to the green roof area; 8) Reduction in the height of the warehouse building section by 0.66 metres; 9) Increase of the parapet height to the administration block by 0.15 metres; 10) Addition of roof lights over the east linking corridor; 11) Installation of AOV Smoke Ventilators and roof hatches on the roof; 12) Minor amendments to glazing sizes and opacities on ground floor of administration block; 13) Addition and alteration of a number of external escape doors; 14) Alteration of design of security hut; and 15) Increase in height of the sprinkler tank by 1.85 metres. What happens next

Permission was granted on 15 Jan 2024. Third parties may appeal within four weeks; after that the permission is final and works can start once a commencement notice is lodged.
