NIS Irish Rail propose to undertake Strengthening works to an existing Overhead Line Electrification Equipment (OHLE) Mast and stay wire on the Dublin to Belfast Railway Line close to the Southern end of the existing Malahide Railway Viaduct at Strand St/Bisset's Strand Malahide. The works are necessary to strengthen the foundations of the existing OHLE Mast and Stay to allow the Construction of the proposed new Broadmeadow Way footbridge. The works are located in the Malahide SAC/SPA Nature site. A Natura Impact Statement accompanies the planning application.
