Proposed development
A residential development at a site bounded to the north and east by Beaverstown Golf Club, to the south by Beresford residential development (under construction) and to the west by Turvey Golf Club lands. Access to the site is from Turvey Avenue via the Beresford development. The proposed development comprises 286 dwellings in the following mix: A 3-storey apartment building containing a total of 36 apartments with balconies, comprising, 6 no. 1-bedroom units and 30 no. 2-bedroom units. A 3 storey duplex building comprising 3 no. 2-bedroom ground floor apartments and 3 no. 3-bedroom duplex units over. The development also consists of 244 no. houses comprising 10 no. 2-storey 2-bedroom terraced/semidetached units; 84 no. 2-storey 3-bedroom terraced/semidetached/detached units; 140 no. 2-storey 4-bedroom semi-detached/detached units and 10 no. 3-storey 5-bedroom semi-detached dwellings. The development also proposes a 2 storey crèche (with an area of 408 sq.m.) and 2 no. ESB substations. The development will include all associated site development works, car parking and landscaping. The proposed development outlined includes revisions to a portion of the previously approved development at the entrance to this site (Reg. Ref. F12A/0086 and F16A/0307). This revision proposed to 19-33 Beresford Woods comprises the replacement of 10 no. 3-bedroom 2 storey houses with 10 no. 4-bedroom 2-storey houses in a modified layout.
