Proposed development

the development of a new milk evaporation and drying facility at the site of their existing milk processing plant, the development works shall include the following elements: a) construction of a new building to accommodate the new evaporator, dryer and associated utility plant with upper floors and platforms provided at various levels within the building to support and facilitate access to the new plant systems; b) upgrade works to existing on-site waste water treatment plant; c) demolition works to facilitate construction of the new building including partial demolition of an existing warehouse building, demolition of existing butter store building and removal of disused storage tanks together with associated bund structure. The development works relate to an activity for which a revised Integrated Pollution and Prevention Control Licence is required. The Tipperary Co-operative Creamery Ltd. site at Station Road is occupied by a Protected Structure RPS ID ref 100. An Environmental Impact Statement will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the subject application
