Proposed development

Permission for development which consists of: We, Health Service Executive (West), intend to apply for permission for development at University Hospital Galway, Newcastle Rd, Galway, H91 YR71. The development will consist of the construction of a new CT building comprising of 1 no. storey plus rooftop plant room with connection to the existing hospital link corridor, to facilitate the relocation of existing services. The proposed building comprises of a 206 sq.m gross floor area building. The building will comprise of: (i) ground floor level – CT scan room, control room and ancillary support rooms, (ii) roof level - enclosed plant room and screened plant area. Planning permission is also sought for site drainage and all other associated and ancillary works. Access is via the main hospital campus which is accessed from Newcastle Road, University Hospital Galway, Co. Galway.
