We, Mynah Unlimited Co are seeking: 1. Permission for Retention of: Limited demolition and internal strip-out works at ground floor level, including: • Removal of the partition walls within the banking hall that formed internal offices, the teller reception area, storage rooms, toilets and the safe; • Demolition of a single-storey pitched-roof toilet extension to the rear, and demolition of the pitched roofs over the rear safe, toilets and office; • Stripping out of historic cornices and joinery. 2. Permission for: • Change of use of the former bank to Class 2 c (betting shop) at ground floor level; • Construction of a single-storey rear extension at ground floor level (c. 11.2m²) with a pitched roof, to provide auxiliary storage for the proposed betting facility; • Reinstatement of three pitched roofs to surviving rear walls at ground floor level; • Reinstatement of replica historic cornicing and joinery at ground floor level; and • Change of use of the existing upper floors, L1, L1.5, L2, L2.5 from offices to 2 no. apartments over four levels in total, including; – A rear stairwell extension at L1 to L2.5 inclusive (c. 2.2m² per level) with a flat roof to provide internal circulation to both apartments; – Installation of one new window in the east wall of the proposed second-floor apartment; and – Miscellaneous internal modifications. at Former Bank of Ireland, North Main Street, Youghal, Co.
