Permission for the construction of a new 60 bed residential care centre (gross floor area 5.270m2) on a site of 2.58Ha comprising of the following; 1) A 1 storey courtyard building with 2 no. 25 ensuite bedroom residential households and a 10 ensuite bedroom dementia unit, together with all ancillary facilities, including reception area, activity rooms and dining areas, offices and administration areas, a production kitchen, service areas, delivery areas, storage, external oxygen storage tank, utility connections, plant areas, roof mounted PV array and roof mounted plant. 2) A proposed new vehicular entrance with vehicular circulation routes, including 70 no. car parking spaces along with associated vehicular set-down area, service yard, 18 no. cycle parking spaces and an internal access road. 3)Provision of communal and private open space, site landscaping, landscaped courtyards, all associated site services, boundary works, site infrastructure, a ground mounted PV array to serve the new residential care building and site development works. The works are within the curtilage of a protected structure St. Raphael’s Centre (RPS ref no. 2833).
