Proposed development

Permission for the construction of a residential development consisting of 77 no. dwelling houses and a single storey creche facility with ancillary surface car park, bicycle parking racks, bin stores and all ancillary development works. The proposed development consists of the construction of 7 no. 4 bedroom detached/semi-detached dwelling houses, 38 no. 3 bedroom semi-detached/townhouse units and 32 no. 2 bedroom townhouse units. Vehicular and pedestrian access to the proposed development will be provided from the Cork Road (L-2040) to the west with a pedestrian link also provided from the Ard an Chuilinn residential development to the northeast of the site. The proposed development provides for undergrounding of a section of the Bandon-Ballincollig-Timoleague 38kV overhead line, including associated provision of a steel lattice mast structure. Ancillary site development works include landscaping and water, wastewater and surface water servicing proposals.
